Our Origins

The Winter Park Foundation began as a vision within the Rotary Club of Winter Park—a way to turn everyday care into something that lasts. Since 2011, we’ve quietly invested in what gives this city its strength: its people, its shared spaces, and the nonprofits that serve both.

What started as Rotary values in motion has grown into a community foundation supporting food security, healthcare, education, and cultural life across Winter Park. We’re here to make sure generosity doesn’t just meet the moment—it shapes what comes next.

Values

Stewardship

We treat every gift with care, using community resources thoughtfully and transparently. We focus on outcomes that last—not quick fixes, but real, visible change.

Local Impact

Our work stays close to home. We support programs that directly benefit Winter Park—strengthening neighborhoods, schools, and access to essential needs with dignity.

Integrity

Trust is at the core of everything we do. From selecting grantees to sharing results, we lead with honesty and accountability. No fine print—just meaningful work, done right.

Dignity

We see grantees as partners, not recipients. Our role is to uplift and support—not to direct or define. Respect is baked into every relationship.

Continuity

We honor what came before. Rooted in Rotary values, we know that real change takes time—and that service must be carried forward, one project and one generation at a time.

Achievements

We don’t measure success in headlines—we see it in backpacks filled, shelves stocked, care restored, and opportunities unlocked. These numbers offer just a glimpse of what local giving makes possible.
