What’s the Winter Park Foundation?

We’re a locally rooted nonprofit, created by the Rotary Club of Winter Park to turn community care into lasting impact. As a 501(c)(3), the Winter Park Foundation supports local nonprofits through grants that strengthen food security, health, education, social services, and cultural access—all within the Winter Park community.

What kinds of organizations do you support?

We fund established 501(c)(3) nonprofits serving the Winter Park community. Our grantees focus on key areas like: • Food security • Health and wellness • Education • Social services • Cultural enrichment

How much has the Foundation granted so far?

Since 2011, we’ve awarded over $1 million in community grants—supporting more than 25 local organizations each year.

How do you choose who receives funding?

All grant applications go through a careful, mission-focused review by our Board of Trustees. We prioritize nonprofits that show clear local impact and strong financial stewardship.

Where does my donation go?

Every gift goes directly to our grantmaking fund. None of your donation is used for overhead or salaries—just local impact where it’s needed most.
